We want practitioners to help build the National Investigations Symposium 2027 program.

We’re looking for people with real experience — investigations, casework, system reform, or emerging risks — who can share practical insights with a room of peers.

You don’t need a polished conference paper.

We’re interested in the idea!

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Case studies from real investigations:
Lessons learned - what worked, what didn't, what you'd do differently
New approaches, tools or methods
System level insights (complaints handling, corruption prevention, regulatory practice)
Emerging risks and how they're managed

If it's useful for other practitioners, we want to hear about it.

HOW IT WORKS

Submit a short expression of interest including:

  1. A WORKSHOP TITLE

2. YOUR PREFERRED FORMAT:

Presentation, Panel or Workshop

3. A BRIEF SUMMARY

100-150 words

THAT'S IT!

Shortlisted contributors will be supported to develop their session with the program leader.

PRESENTATION FORMATS

Individual presentation (a 45-minute presentation followed by a Q&A and/or facilitated discussion)
Panel discussions
Interactive workshops (half or full day) 1 June 2027

SUPPORT FOR SPEAKERS

We know you're balancing this with a demanding role. If selected, you'll receive:
Guidance to shape your session for impact
Support with format and structure
Access to speaker briefings and templates
A platform to share your work with a national audience

WHY PRESENT?

Contribute to the profession and influence practice
Share lessons from your work with peers across the sector
Build your profile within the investigations and integrity community
Be part of the national conversation on where investigations are landing

You bring the experience - we'll help you land it!
